we wanted to host an improv show that could showcase how talented, hilarious, and diverse this vancouver improv scene is. 10 SPEED does just that, in Vancouver's finest space for comedy: the China Cloud Theatre. each 10 SPEED show highlights seven top vancouver improv groups for 10 minutes max - for each minute they go over ten we will disrupt their scenes, characters, and personal lives in increasingly upsetting ways. friends with benefits vancouver is full of world-class improvisers and that's no joke. 10 SPEED has been honoured by performances from some truly awesome groups and people: pump trolley comedy the sunday service ghost jail theatre instant theatre ubcimprov and many, many more. rare but not too rare a show this packed with excellence doesn't come around every day. 10 SPEED takes place at the china cloud theatre every other month. take a peek at the links below for facebook-style explanations of each show and line up: january 18 march 15 may 24 home is where the improv is never been to the china cloud theatrebefore?
